Lucknow - Sravasti - Bodhgaya - Varanasi - Sarnath - Kathmandu - Baudha - Swayambhunath - Patan - Bhaktapur – Paro - Thimphu

Day 1: Arrival Lucknow

On arrival at Lucknow , our representative will receive you and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Sravasti

In the early morning, you will transfer to the Sravasti, which will include a visit to Maheth - covering an area of about 400 acres. Excavations have exposed the massive gates of the city, ramparts and also the ruins of other structures, which stand testimony to the prosperity of ancient Sravasti. The Sobhanath Temple is located here. Pakki Kuti and Kacchi Kuti were probably Buddhist shrines, before they were converted into Brahmanical temples.

Day 3: Bodhgaya

After breakfast, you will have sightseeing at Bodhagaya and will have overnight stay at Bodhagaya.

Day 4: Varanasi - Saaranath

After breakfast you may leave for Varanasi en route visiting Sarnath – where Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment in Bodhgaya, today it presents the most expansive ruins amongst places on the Buddhist trail. Then you will continue your drive to Varanasi for Aarati.

Day 5: Depart To Kathmandu

After morning sightseeing in the Varanasi, you will transfer to the airport. Upon the arrival in Kathmandu airport, our representatives will receive you. And transfer to hotel. After refreshment, you will get the briefing on your further tour packages followed by dinner.

Day 6: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, our guide leads you to the historical heritage sites of Kathmandu that includes Kathmandu Durbar Square Area, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, which are the major attraction of Nepal.

Day 7: Patan, Bhaktapur

On the third day, you will lead to Swyambhunath (Monkey Temple), ancient Patan and Bhaktapur city. The Bhaktapur is the open museum in itself. After the tour, you will go to Nagarkot for night stay.

Day 8:  Nagarkot Sunrise View and Village Trekking

In the early morning, you will see the mesmerizing sunrise from your own hotel. Then after breakfast, you will go for trekking in Nagarkot village. After lunch, you transfer to the airport for Lumbini.

Day 9: Lumbini Darshan

Entire day, you will travel to the birthplace of Buddha and in the late afternoon, you will transfer to the airport for Kathmandu.  

Day 10: Transfer to the Airport for Bhutan

Our representative will transfer you to the airport for Bhutan. On arrival at the airport, our representative will receive you and transfer to the Thimphu for overnight stay.

Day 11: Thimphu - Punakha

After breakfast Thimphu sightseeing, we will visit Trashichhodzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery which houses most of the Government's office and King's Throne room It is also the summer residence of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. Then visit National Library, which has the vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts and manuscripts. After that drive to Painting School, famous for traditional Thangka Paintings. Here you will see, students at work producing the intricate design on cloth. Also, visit Traditional Medicine Institute is worthwhile where centuries old healing arts still practiced. Later visit Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, a fascinating testimony of the Bhutanese material culture and living traditions. After lunch drive to Paro with a short stop at Dochula pass. Later en route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the Kingdom built in 1627, it now houses the School for Buddhist studies. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 12: Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum of the Kingdom. Originally built as Watch Tower since 1967 it is acting as the National Museum of the country and holding the fascinating collection of art, artifacts, thangkha paintings and Bhutan's exquisite postage stamps. Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, which has a long and fascinating history. After lunch drive north of Paro valley to ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. From this fort, Bhutanese repelled several invasions by Tibetan armies. Nearby visit traditional Bhutanese Farm House which offers good insight into the lifestyle of local people. While the return to Paro town visits en route Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the Kingdom. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 13: Paro Depart

After breakfast drive to the airport for flight to onward destination.
