The Yala National Park, Udawalawe National Park, Horton Plains National Park, Minneriya National Park, Horton Plains National Park, Wilpattu National Park, Somawathie Chaittiya National Park are some of the largely visited national parks in the Sri Lanka. In this package, we will give you best incredible opportunity to experience the wildlife of Sri Lanka.
Day 1: Colombo - Udawalawe
Upon the arrival of the Colombo international airport, our representative will receive you and transfer to the hotel at Udawalawe for the overnight stay. With welcome dinner, they will give you the briefing on entire package and its attractions.
Day 2: Bundala National Park
In a second way, after early breakfast, we go on safari Udawalawe National Park. Early morning, we can sport numbers wildlife including leopard, herds of dears, and variety of birds. After lunch, we will drive to Bundala National Park that will take about two hours. In the evening, we will again go for safari at Bundala National Park that is famous for its crocodile population. Before dusk, you can see fleets of the crocodile at the riverbank. Hence, from dawns to dusk safari, you can cover the diverse wildlife of southern province of Sri Lanka.
Day 3: Yala National Park
On the day three, we will move to Yala National Park. The park is best known for its variety of wild animal that includes Sri Lankan Elephants, Sri Lankan Leopards, and Aquatic Birds. There are six national parks and three wildlife sanctuaries in the vicinity of Yala. Among the largest is Lunugamvehera National Park. We will experience the tribal cuisine and stay in The Indigenous Village.
Day 4: Sinharaja Rain Forest
Yala National Park is the home of millions of aquatic birds. In early dawns, birds come to the riverside for water and early food. It is the perfect time to view the birds along with another wild animal. Hence, we will have early breakfast and go for morning safari wheel at Yala National Park then will transfer to Sinharaja Rain Forest after lunch. We will go for evening trekking at Sinharaja Rain Forest and will have dinner with local people and will have overnight stay.
Day 5: Sinharaja Rain Forest
The Sinharaja Forest Reserve is also called “Lion Kingdom” that is best known for biodiversity. The park has originally declared a forest reserve in 1875 and later listed in the world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. So, with bed tea, we will go for bird watching trail and will back hotel for breakfast. Relax till noon and go for evening trekking after lunch. You can have your dinner as own as per your choice and back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Attidiya Wetland Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to Colombo that will take about 4 hours. Then after having brief rest, we will go for Jeep ride at Attidiya wetland bird sanctuary where you can sport some of the rare birds and wildlife including Indian Shag, Wide Winged Purple Heron, Blue Breasted Banded Tail, Ruddy Crake, Spot Billed Pelican, Purple Coot, White Ibis, Painted Stork and the Elusive Glossy Ibis. In the late evening, we will back hotel.
Day 7: After Breakfast
After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport as per your flight schedule. If time allows, you can travel Colombo on our own for shopping.
