Transportation In Bengaluru

The best time to visit Bangalore is from the months of October to February which are the winter months here. Being a populous city and an IT hub of India, Bangalore is best known for its moderate climate that is very pleasing to everyone. While the temperature hovers between 27-35 degree Celsius in Summers; Winters could be freezing with the mercury dropping below 15-degree Celsius. Monsoons, on the other hand, are pleasant and chill making Bangalore suitable for a visit throughout the year.

 

Trains: The Mumbai Metrorail has vastly improved over the past few years. The fast transit vehicles move people and visitors throughout the city with ease, while the Airport Metro Express Line offers transportation to and from Delhi Airport. A one-day tourist metro pass costs 150 rupees, while a three-day pass costs 300 rupees.

Bus: Mumbai buses serve the metropolitan area. The buses are not always air-conditioned and are frequently rather full. Depending on the distance traveled, fares range from 5 to 25 rupees.

Taxis & Rickshaws: For short travels across Mumbai, it is simple to step into a rickshaw, which is a bicycle-drawn carriage. For longer journeys, you may also take an auto-rickshaw, which is essentially an open-air carriage powered by a conventional automobile engine. Auto-rickshaws serve as taxis, but you may also phone for a taxi on demand. Ola Cabs are quite popular in Delhi, while Uber also provides service to the city.
