Hyderabad

Hyderabad, the joint capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is a remarkable combination of Hindu and Muslim traditions, and every frame pulsates with vibrant heritage. The city’s metropolitan part consists of the hilltop Golconda, the contemporary city of Secunderabad, and the historic city of Hyderabad, which are divided by an artificial lake called Hussain Sagar. The Hi-Tech city, or the city’s cyber hub, is located on the western end. The frenetic bazaars teeming with tea and spice merchants are one of the primary draws of ancient Hyderabad. This is a significant contributor to Hyderabad’s tourism. The landmark Charminar, erected in 1591 to celebrate Hyderabad’s inception, the magnificent Chowmahalla palace, and one of the world’s largest mosques – the Mecca Masjid – are among the most popular destinations to visit in the city. Art lovers can visit the Kalakriti and Birla art galleries. Plan a day trip to Ramoji Film City (Telangana’s film industry – Tollywood) as one of the must-dos in the city. In addition, no vacation to Hyderabad is complete without the exquisite trio of Irani tea, Osmania biscuits, and the classic biryani.
